How can a website that lies down work?

This situation just happened.
With the help of my sometimes crooked hands and with the help of an update on a live site, I managed to put an IM on opencart 2.3. The errors were related to invalid database queries.
But what was amazing happened. The site opened in chrome and gave errors from the database in opera and fox.
I checked many times:
1. Different pages of the site that I had not opened before - everything opened 100%, opened pages 10-12
2. The address in the address bar - that this is not a case of a site on localhost
3. I cleared the history, cache, cookies, reopened tabs, chrome - site worked!
The site was simultaneously in Opera and Fox, and was fully operational in Chrome. The fact that the site was lying was also confirmed by the Hoster's Support Service. I was shocked by what worked in chrome. The site was not cached, I deliberately opened many different sections of the site that I had never been to.
How is this possible ?
