How can a student start working in the web-sphere?

Good afternoon. I am a second-year student majoring in Security of Information and Telecommunication Systems. Before joining, he studied web development himself. I mastered php, html, css to the extent that allowed me to write small sites and scripts just for fun.
In fact, until semester 2.2, the direction in education was the same as that of computer engineering. Now there is a subject called "Information and Coding Theory", and I realized that information security is not my thing at all.
In 4 semesters we mastered C, OOP in C#, ASM. Now, they began to actively persuade us to work with equipment: microcontrollers, FPGAs. But all this is not given to me, it pulls me to a "high" level.
Due to the fact that nothing works out for me at the university, I have to skip couples. And the search for work, where they will take a student with the basics of the web, has not yet been crowned with success. For freelancing, I don’t have a portfolio, and such deep knowledge. And so I sit at the "broken trough".
"Forget" studying at the university, and independently study the web tightly, while "closing the session" or forget what I like and do what makes me sick. Parents' money paid for studies or dreams. That's what baffles me.
It seems to me that this is more a problem in my head, but alas, for myself, I have not yet found an answer.
Why did I write all this? Because I would like to hear the answer to my question from those people who faced a similar situation.
Thank you.

1. Read books and blogs in your chosen areas.
2. Create a portfolio, put it on github. For a portfolio, look for interesting tasks on the topic you need, solve them and post them.
You are not hired not only because you have no experience, but also because you are a student. And students are considered not very responsible employees, since you have a session or a vacation and you need to go home.
In life, a lot of things are not given the first time, and if you use this approach, you will not achieve anything.
It is physically impossible to work five days a week and study at the same time, and the quality of work and study will suffer. I believe that you need to be patient and finish your studies so that your parents' money is not wasted. Your specialty and diploma will be fully quoted in the labor market.
During your training, set specific goals for yourself. For example: Learn Javascript. Take tests on the Internet, pass, see what you do not know and work on these topics.
In addition, go to freelance sites and see what tasks there are on the chosen topic. Don't be lazy, post for a job. You look, they will invite you for an interview, and even if you don’t pass it, you will still get invaluable experience - experience in interviews. There you can see in general what is required on the market and develop in these areas.

Do not quit your studies, it is a plus that you will have a technical education. If you want to work on the web, do it in parallel with your studies, I think that this option is quite real.

Here are a couple of options...
If money doesn't burn, go this way. Master the languages (it seems like it’s already done), do projects for yourself, then they will work for you (as you first work for a student’s record, then a student’s record for you). So, you will have a portfolio, even if these are not running projects, but they are completely ready, at least give them to the customer. Try to do the full cycle of development yourself, that is, from the idea and writing technical specifications to "implementation". All this can then be indicated in the resume and you will be happy. There is a portfolio, there is practically real experience in creating projects, and if you cooperate with someone, you will also have team experience. Then there will be fewer problems, mainly only age and education, but not everyone looks at it negatively, it is easier for some companies to take a student and teach him for themselves. It's a long one, but probably the right one.
If you urgently need money, then it’s more difficult, you need to do everything the same but faster and with an emphasis on freelancing, where the first projects can already make a profit, and again, as you collect a portfolio, there are more chances for everything.
And yes and no, many companies, as I said above, prefer to take a student, maybe the salary is lower, but there will be experience. (I was hired like that once, there were several candidates, I was a 1st year student after college and I lowered my price tag by 10 thousand, but I was still satisfied and remained in the black before the previous place and they took me)
What about study and work ...it's really depressing. Especially at work, there is always a lot of things. I'm currently studying at Sunday training, and it's annoying when the session comes up. It is not only on weekends, you have to ask for time off, there is no time to learn the material and as a result you fly by. But for me, real experience has always been more important than theoretical.
And don't focus only on the web yet, see how there will be time for other native languages. It's up to
you....

My example will help.
I am a 2nd year student.
I studied HTML/CSS and JS by myself. I updated my CV on hh.ru.
And recently I was invited to the vacancy of a front-end developer. During the session and holidays worked 3 days. Now, during study about 16 hours. Some in the office, some at home. It is better to start in the office, because. I learned a lot from my colleagues.
If you have questions, please ask.

@HeadOnFire

Study on your own. Find or come up with interesting tasks for your ass, solve them and post them on Github. Participate in Open Source projects, gain experience and knowledge. Build a portfolio, post resumes and respond to vacancies.
