How are pull requests being finalized?

I created a pull request for a project on github. One of the developers of the project checked and said that everything is fine, but it would be nice to change something.
Should I create a new commit in this pull request in which I only change a couple of characters, or is it done in some other way? Should I merge these two commits?

You just make a commit to your branch, it will be reflected in the pull request, and you answer in the comments what you corrected.
