How and where did you look for a job?
Good afternoon.
Preface. In the spring he graduated from the institute, quit the factory where he wrote his diploma, received a second degree, a reserve lieutenant, the question arose of finding a promising job. After two months of unsuccessful searches, there were only 2 job offers in the specialty (one unpromising, and in the second case the employer seemed strange), it was decided to finish the stands for mining and leave to rest. I decided that I would look for a job in my specialty in August-September, and if I don’t find it, I’ll go to work as a system administrator (fortunately, I have experience) so as not to sit at home.
Now, of course, is not the best time to look for work, all the acquaintances are having layoffs, but what to do ...
I posted my resume on hh.ru and superjob.ru. I also think to go to several recruiting agencies, since, as far as I know, many large companies apply directly to agencies to search for employees, and they, in turn, search through their databases. Send resume? A friend told me that over the past 10 years, they have never looked at the submitted resumes, so is it worth it? What else can you think of?
The plans are to find a job in a large company, to finish learning English and we'll see later :)
It was interesting to read how you looked for and found a job.

They didn’t hire me (I was a student with no experience, no one took freelance into account).
I made a website where I offer services for the creation and development of websites, online stores, launched a direct.
I still work that way. I don’t have a lot of money, I don’t consider myself a businessman, but I earn the salary of a good developer. Over time, my own online store appeared, I also sell socks in bulk, lol.
I advise you to go freelancing if you can’t find a job, but you should still look for orders offline, not on stock exchanges. On the stock exchanges, schoolchildren with their Joomla are very dumping.
ps (don't judge my site strictly, I'm making a new one now, now the old one is still lying. To see an approximate new version, write / src. but that one is under development.)
Everything on points (my case. Rolled 3 times):
- Good summary. I write all day, I rewrite five times until I bring it to the ideal.
- Mass mailing to all (!) Job search resources (about 30 for my city).
- And then going on interviews. I act arrogant in interviews. Those. if the company is "young developing" or some kind of "Vector", then immediately the forest. If the personnel officer is silent about the approximate salary, it is also a forest. If it is not immediately clear what to do, also in the forest.
- Everything. Profit…
Specialty - web-developer. I searched through hh.ru and habra. But mostly they found me myself from both sources and also through free-lance.ru a couple of times.
Rosrabota.ru, system administrator, found the nearest place to the house, now on foot to work :)
IT manager, in fact - a system administrator and an enikey worker :-)
I found a vacancy in the local newspaper of free ads (fair). At the same time, I was interviewing at a local Internet / cable provider (my mother saw an ad in the running line), they still call and invite me for a second interview :-)
When I was a student with no work experience, I left my resume on hh.ru and job.ru. They called several times, but basically they offered training first, and only then a job. As a result, I found an interesting vacancy on Habré, wrote to the employer, did a test task and went for an interview. As a result, they took me as a developer on .NET.
Good luck with your job search!
He also recently graduated. I found a job on odesk.com. Initially, when I registered there, I was more likely to count on a part-time job, but in the end they work full time. The third week has gone, everyone is happy,
It looks like your city is busy with vacancies, because in Moscow even a monkey will find a job as a programmer (at least now). I think you understand what needs to be done.
I posted my resume on several websites. They called me and went to interviews.
Yandex My Circle (moikrug.ru) is also a good platform for finding a job.
We were looking for a job in the first year. Not after uni.
I work as
a
system administrator; it is easy to find an interesting vacancy for a system administrator
hh.ru I searched a lot myself, eventually found me.
Don't mess with staff.
PS First you need to understand what you want and what you are willing to sacrifice for this.
In the last year of the institute, I had enough free time and began to look for a job.
Posted resume on hh.ru superjob.ru. Since I was a student and still without experience, I decided to look for vacancies for an assistant system administrator. I have been looking for a job for a long time, as there are some problems with the documents. But still, there was an understanding head of the IT department of one company, and he hired me. Behind almost 1.5 years of working time. I am very glad that at that time they offered exactly the vacancy in which I am now working.
Didn't find what you were looking for?
