Hot keys Fn + arrows (brightness) do not work on a laptop. How to fix?

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash acpi_backlight=vendor"
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="acpi_osi=Linux"

did /etc/default/grubn't help. It even turned out to be unpredictable - when you try to increase the brightness, krunner (launcher) is triggered and ±±± signs are written into it.
Debian 8 jessie + KDE system. Widget brightness is adjustable.
In which direction to drip?
