Hostel networking?

Hello.
Need advice from knowledgeable people.
Available:
3 computers at the reception :) on which the hostel software is installed
4 laptops will appear in the near future
3 computers for
server clients at the moment there is no
Office 365 available
Want to:
Set up a server, throw hostel software there, make a ball, change routers to more nimble + Office 365
Is it worth installing a server at all?
If it is, then everything will be, I imagine it like this:
1. installation of a server (AD, DNS), create a domain, add users (if necessary, roaming users), GPO, transfer software to a server, set additional. Software, we set firewalls, etc., we add everyone to the domain, then we loop users (we display labels for balls and programs on the desktop). Then we change the routers to more nimble ones (set and configure). But tell me what to do with Office 365? How to shove it?
Or attention is not worth bothering with these at all, just create a ball for users, change routers and install software on other computers.
Thanks to all.

"you shouldn't bother with these at all, just create a ball for users, change routers and install software on other computers." I think that's exactly what should be done. Why create problems where there are none?
