Homemade tape recorder?

Have your own car. I have been riding without music for a year now, I decided to put an end to this.
From the car I make a “cramp”, or rather its light version. Accordingly, I don’t really want to buy a ready-made radio tape recorder. Firstly, I'm afraid that they will steal it (and I'm more worried about broken glass), and secondly, it's not interesting. And the interior has already been pretty much redone, so there is no longer a “standard” place for the radio. :)
So I wanted something unusual. The main thing is that only a small screen, volume, 12V power supply (in order to power it from the battery without problems) and an AUX input (I plan to listen to music only from my phone) are visible. Well, if there is still a radio, it will be absolutely wonderful.
I plan to hide the stuffing of the device behind the panel, away from the eyes.
I myself will not assemble / solder something (I can solder a couple of wires, but my hands do not allow me to work with boards). I started looking for something interesting. But the search was limited to similar devices . I understand perfectly well that this is too ridiculous an option, but I did not find anything better.
I'm not going to bother with music too much. I’ll put speakers in the front doors (the podiums are already ready), I want to attach an old speaker from the Soviet music center to them, so that at least something mumbles, trying to portray the bass. :)
How to be, habravchane? What devices do you recommend?

Based on all this - a cheap amplifier + a cheap USB-powered player + a USB car adapter powered directly under the panel. If you want to listen from your phone, you can replug the cable. Easier nowhere.
Although, in principle, I don’t understand why bother so much, if you can take this ShleP and close it with a panel ...

Buy an old cassette recorder, a trash tape drive. Insert an aux inside and play from your phone.

Any amplifier from Masterkit and that's it, take the sound from the phone.
