Higher education?

Initial data:
- 20 years old
- Dropped out of school in the 4th year of college (vocational school), studied norms 4.5 Why did you quit? It's simple - a waste of time so that you understand almost 4 years of study = about 0 knowledge + hatred for the profession + strange student assessments, there are excellent students who cannot reinstall windows, there are really rummaging dudes (better than teachers) C students. Yes, computer systems.
- 9 classes of education coming out
- now doing web development
Now the question itself, as I understand it, without a tower it’s still sucks, I’m not going to be a Weber all my life, I like to make games when I have time, they say you need a good education) for a year or two I definitely won’t go anywhere, I need to work (financial situation forces), In my spare time I study English + I have an hour or two left every day.
On the basis of 9 classes, it is impossible to enter a university; there is definitely no point in recovering in a sharaga. There is an option to pass the exam and enter the tower. How to proceed? Do you really need a tower for game dev exactly? Is considered not a crust, namely knowledge? Is it possible to get the same knowledge yourself? Will the absence of a higher education interfere when moving to another country? And yes, now everyone tells me that I’m stupid, I had to study later for a red diploma and then you will become successful, and you have seen enough of successful stories like Bill Gates, etc. and dropped out of school (it's not). I'm a beginner in the web, and not a great analyst, but if you think about it, in six months I reached the starting salary, which will be in 5 years while my peers receive higher education.
As you understand, I am confused, I see myself for the next year or two, but then I don’t want to get stuck because of education.
Questions:
1. Do I need a tower for gamedev? It is the knowledge gained there.
2. Can you get this knowledge yourself?
3. How to structure homeschooling?
4. How about moving without VO?
5. How not to start degrading without studying at a university?

I can’t give an exact answer to the question, but let’s do this - collect information - take 20-30 people, successful programmers, developers, game developers for about 30 years (success criterion - they work in a large project as team leaders, CTOs, etc.). And find out what percentage of them have higher education. This will be a real description of the world order for you.
ps without a tower, a person has 2 ways - to be a genius, to build your own very successful business. As a rule, those who build their very successful business are geniuses.

You are in the wrong place. In short: It all depends on the person.
And so, the site has no philosophy.

You need to finish college, recovering, because with 9 classes abroad, well, nothing at all, and in Russia it’s not very good either. In a university, everything is much more complicated, so if you can’t even graduate from college, you shouldn’t meddle in a university.
1. Do I need a tower for gamedev? It is the knowledge gained there.
Most probably not. Unless you are developing a 3D graphics engine from scratch.
2. Can you get this knowledge yourself?
Probably yes.
4. How about moving without VO?
9th grade - nothing. 11 classes - either with a huge work experience, or enter the Community College (for a fee, $ 10-20K per year). Higher education - you can find a job.
5. How not to start degrading without studying at a university?
Don't drink, don't smoke, work as a programmer.

They teach at school, they teach at the university. The teacher gives a course of lectures, the student writes them down, and then continues to study in the library with a bunch of books.
At the university, you are given the basics of the chosen specialty and the opportunity to communicate with specialists so that they give a kick in the right direction to study the subject.
A university graduate does not have to know everything, but should know where to find the missing information.
> 1. Do you need a tower for gamedev? It is the knowledge gained there.
If this is connected with matan, then without a tower in any way.
> 2. Is it possible to get this knowledge yourself?
Theoretically, you can do all this on your own, only it will take much more time.
