Heroku how to get domain name back? New DNS settings?

Can I now make my example.herokuapp.com the domain name of example.com again? Or have they turned it off entirely?

Reading in devcenter 1 , 2 . But I can't really understand anything.

Can you tell me what to do? If at all possible to do something.

Do you have a domain registered? Heroku interface new?

1. Set up a redirect from the subdomain @ to www
2. Make a CNAME entry from www to example.heroku.com
3. In heroku enter www.example.com
4. Profit
