Help with flowchart software

Here is an example of building an algorithm for a piece of a site, I can demonstrate. I use Edraw Max. There is one direct and second indirect problem:
1) There is a little lack of functionality. It is not possible to add more dependency points to the block (those 4 pieces for each block are clearly not enough for the arrows). It is extremely difficult to make connections between blocks with a strong degree of data interchange (sending keys to the handler file, then receiving it by the original sender, internal checking for the result and further the most diverse actions based on their results).
2) [If you change the program] An interface with a fairly high glossiness is required (what is good, but I would like it to be no worse): you have to make reports to the authorities ... he (the team lead) came up with a cool idea (I like it too, but I still have to implement it) - we will give projects with a reduced block diagram to the customer. We do not support projects in the future, however, it will be much easier for other web engineers to understand the logic of the application / site later.

So the question is: how to be? What is the solution in my case? I would be extremely grateful for your help.

PS I looked at the thread of questions on “flowcharts”, but slightly different questions were posed there ... although maybe I was just looking crookedly.
