Help with an idea

Good day,

I'm a layman in IT, but I really want to make the world a better place. There is a great desire to use your meager knowledge of HTML to make an application for mobile phones, but the trouble is low knowledge of trends and markets.

Help with an idea for a phone app. I won’t pull the game, but the application is just right. It doesn't have to be something mega-useful. Maybe even something fun. The main thing is to make the world a better place :)

Many thanks for any ideas!

Make an application. It's called "I'm bored". Someone is sitting alone at home. Posts a tweet or something to the app. Like "I'm sad", "I'm bored". And this tweet is sent to all subscribers within a radius of 5 km. Maybe someone is just sitting in a cafe bored. Or one plays billiards.
Let's have fun with each other.
I just somehow went to NG in the subway. My train stopped. It turns out in the evening some guy jumped under the train in front of us. The station was closed for an hour. The guy is dead.
Probably there were holidays, and he was very lonely. Himself, no one invited, everyone is happy, but he is sad.
Maybe this would not have happened if someone had helped like this.

Thematic quote service.
You can make an SMS service. You send an SMS with a subject (tag, search query) - you get a quote from a classic on the topic, and preferably a few.
- in demand, hundreds of real use cases
- no copyright problems
- easy to make
One may not be able to handle, due to lack of experience. Take someone necessarily experienced as partners. Make a habrapost or write on the forums where they live. I'm sure you can find it.

Do you have a test phone? If yes, then the choice is immediately reduced to one device, because making applications and not testing them on real hardware is not very “useful”.

Read the God of GTD on Habré (they post articles on how to sleep less, achieve goals, fight laziness, fight weak character - in general, an extremely useless blog). Make an app to help people with this. If we are talking about a phone, an application, for example, can control the promises made by a person and encourage / punish for their non-fulfillment, say motivating and condemning words. Just to remind you that something urgently needs to be done. Get to the root of problems. It is possible to conclude that there are no problems and no. Offer to start life anew from today.
Just don't make a task planner, Gantt charts, graphs, tables and other boring crap. Leave it to the managers, let them get bored further.
The task, I agree, is not easy, if only because I myself did not really formulate it. I can't even imagine what it might look like, but it seems to me that the application should display text and under it - a few buttons, as well as a thing for entering promises. The task is difficult, but is it easy to improve the world?
You are a waiter, so you must be able to understand people well and carry positive emotions.
Ha, who else besides me can come up with at least something original?

Didn't find what you were looking for?
