Intel X25-M (SSDSA2MJ080G2C1) 80GB SSD is quite good.

I recommend new samsungs, most recently an article about them was on Habré, their prices are now more than acceptable.

If we are not talking about a laptop, then take a closer look at the SSD with a PCI-E interface: www.fcenter.ru/eshop.shtml?94626
The manufacturer's website promises - Write: Up to 450 MB / s
I do not use it myself, unfortunately. Bit I'd like. :)

The first or second, third, if I'm not mistaken on SLC and costs five times more than the first two.

I would recommend waiting for the release of the SSD on the new SandForce SF-2000 controller, which uses the SATA600 interface (aka SATA-III) to its fullest. If you need to buy right now, I advise OCZ Vertex2.

Crucial RealSSD C300 is good, but the first batches were with unoptimized firmware, which in some cases gave a significant sag on operations with small file blocks. There seems to be a new firmware on their website, so it is advisable to immediately flash it before installing Windows.
Another disadvantage is the high price and the problem with the purchase and, accordingly, with a further guarantee (as I understand it, this model is not officially sold in Russia).
Otherwise, it is considered the fastest SSD at the moment.
