Help me choose a CMS with a simple templating engine

Very little familiar with the CMS market, wondering if there is a CMS with an advanced admin panel and a simple templating mechanism a la Smarty or HTML::Template.
I would like to take the engine ready, and easily and simply fasten the template, completely controlling the format of the generated html.

A very simple templating engine in the free PHPShop CMS Free phpshopcms.ru , even allows you to write pure php code in templates, as well as variables like @[email protected] For ease of pulling the design, the PHPShop Editor utility phpshopcms.ru/news/ID_30.html has been created. All variables are immediately available in the list on the right, and the template parsing tree on the left. For advanced users, there is PHPShop IDE habrahabr.ru/company/phpshop/blog/108595/ , which also makes it easier to write code for the existing visual editing of templates.

I have seen the simplest and most flexible template engine only in MODx... if your site is not very large (up to 5k documents), then take the Evo branch - it is easier to use and less demanding on resources. Otherwise, there is a branch for large sites - Revolution. You can read more here http://modxcms.com/
