Heart rate sensor?

Good day.
I want to monitor my heart rate, and not with a special device, but simply with a kind of sensor on the wrist, or on the chest, connected by an audio input to a smartphone and special software.
Interested in the implementation, because found little on the internet. There is, of course, an option to use infrared light, but it is extremely sensitive, like sound.
Is it possible, for example, to take a simple ECG for these purposes, just to apply a small electrical impulse to the audio input when the heart beats? If so, will there be strong interference when running? And is the implementation complicated, components?
Perhaps there are similar ready-made implementations, but without "brains"?

He defended his thesis just on this topic. There are 3 ways to remove heart rate.
1) Infrared optocoupler
2) Woofer
3) Electric pulse
The first two are quite budgetary. If you live in Moscow, then I can give optocouplers. Ordered abroad. To reduce sensitivity, or rather noise, you need to use filters. Take Kallman, for example.
The electrical impulse can be captured using a Polar chip.
I can send you my diploma.
