Headset for Chinese android phone

Hello. Recently became the owner of the Chinese phone star n9770. I'm happy with the phone, but the bundled headset is no good. I started looking for a replacement headset, but it turned out that for android it's not so easy. But I found an adapter that promises to connect any iPhone headset to samsung, htc etc phones. Will this adapter work for using iphone compatible headsets on my device? The requirements for the headset are minimal: the operation of the headphones and the operation of the microphone to answer the call.

I use a bluetooth headset with a Chinese phone - there are no problems.
Or was the question about this adapter and it was with an iPhone headset?

iPhones and phones from other manufacturers have a different sequence of contacts on the minijack. I now have such a headset , suitable for Blackberry, HTC, iPhone, LG, Motorola and Palm + included adapter for Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Samsung.
On my ZTE Blade, I have to use an adapter.

Are you sure it won't work without an adapter? For example, on my Huawei Honor i, the headsets work fine. I propose to compare the pinout of the headset from the kit with the iPhone.
