HDMI->DVI cable

Hello,
I want to buy a TV as a second monitor to display video from my computer on it. On the video card I have 2 DVI connectors (GF9600). In this connection, I decided to immediately buy a 3m HDMI-> DVI cable.
I looked at the abundance of choice and was somewhat puzzled: prices range from 300 rubles to infinity. Because I don’t understand anything about this, I ask for advice on the following questions:
1. Which company and for what (approximately) price is it better to take a cable?
2. Can I buy an HDMI->HDMI cable and an HDMI->DVI adapter?
3. What are the problems with inexpensive cables?

Thank you!

www.3dnews.ru/offsyanka/611567/print is for starters.
1. No more than a few hundred rubles, 1000 or more - pure marketing. The F-Center makes cables to order in China, under the Flextron brand , and they are very inexpensive.
2. It is possible, there will be even a more universal option. True, probably a little more expensive.
3. If it’s completely trash from a Chinese basement, there may be poor contact in the connectors or problems with the strength of the wires. Also, problems can appear at longer lengths (it is better to take active cables if the length is >10 meters). There are practically no problems at 2-3-5 meters.

take an HDMI->HDMI cable and a DVI->HDMI adapter. when you change the video card, and most already with a built-in HDMI connector, you will have a full-fledged HDMI-> HDMI cable (both video and audio)

When the same problem arose, I bought a 6m HDMI-> HDMI cable at the auction, and the DVI -> HDMI adapter was included with the video card.

I took for 250 rubles a 3-meter HDMI-HDMI and a DVI-> HDMI adapter. Despite the fact that 3-meter DVI-HDMI of the same appearance in another built some absolutely cosmic 1700 rubles.
And do not forget to be puzzled by the S / PDIF connector for connecting sound to the video card. I did it, because we simply don’t have them for sale.

Get hdmi->hdmi. It is smarter in every way - the adapter to DVI is cheap, and hdmi will soon replace the more bulky and less versatile (no sound) DVI.

Are you sure that your two connectors will have 2 different pictures, and not the same one?

I use a 10-meter DVI-HDMI cable, inexpensive (<1000 rubles). Initially, there was an HD-ready TV, as a result, it was not possible to get a normal picture on it. Decided that the cable is not usable. Recently changed TV to Full-HD. I decided to try the same cable again - and everything worked perfectly, including the sound (the main thing is not to forget to output the sound from the mother to the video card via S / PDIF).
