HDD \ SSD as a memory card for the camera?

Greetings!

Memory cards for cameras (DSLRs) are limited to 128GB (well, there is an exotic 256GB, but it costs absolutely unrealistic money). At the same time, a fast and capacious card is very expensive at the same time.

I visited this thought:
CF is almost an IDE. Is it possible in theory to connect a cable (with a flash drive connector) to the CF-SATA (or CF-IDE-SATA) controller to the camera slot?

Of course, you need to take into account the power lines. Those. from the controller, do not connect the power line for the card (let the camera do it), and separately provide power for the drive.

Task: to get a high-speed (record at least 75 MB / sec) high-capacity drive (at least 0.5-1 TB). So that it would be possible to pour a stream of fatty raves (50mb) for a very long time.

Let's not convince me that this is "not necessary". Need. There is only one alternative - to change 64 (128) GB flash drives quite often. Uncomfortable.
(Fussing with the screw / ssd, controller, cable, power supply is also not the most convenient solution, but it does not interrupt the shooting process).

Just in case, I’ll disown “flash drives with Wi-Fi” in advance. They will not pull the desired transfer rates.

There was also a bummer with a camera with a usb-3.0 interface (D800). The file itself merges very quickly. But it takes a lot of time to re-establish the connection for each file. It does not pull the stream at 1 frame per second.

What problems could there be in my venture?
Is it worth digging towards CF-IDE-SATA or just take CF-SATA like this Espada FG-BSA2-V01-001CF-1-CT21 ?

It is clear that I am limited to FAT32, but it's not terrible. 2TB - for the eyes (and one is enough).
I would like to listen to criticism and comments of understanding people before testing. It's a pity to immediately burn the camera board :)

Does your camera not have an HDMI, WiFi connector to stream to a PC, for example, or an external WiFi adapter, such as eye-Fi, or a Wi-Fi module? Buy Nikon and camera software.

Target system Nikon D800. In general, we are talking about any SLR with a CF slot.

Why such perversion? Buy two for 32 and take turns merging data to external storage. This will be both safer and cheaper.

Do you consider digital backs for "ordinary" cameras?

If I'm not mistaken, the Canon D60 can immediately put photos on an external usb drive. Perhaps there are custom firmware for canons that add this feature to more other cameras.

Here's what I think, maybe try with an IDE screw? Through a passive adapter. True, they write that canon (I didn’t find any information about Nikon) doesn’t quite work on IDE commands.
