HaxeFlixel, is it worth learning?

Hello. I wanted to ask a question about HaxeFlixel . Is it worth studying? Is Haxe promising in general? And how are things with cross-platform on this engine?

Interested. There are many but, for example, at the time when I felt Haxe there were problems with the IDE under Linux (!). And I haven't seen any serious projects on Haxe, except for small toys in pixel (mostly) style. If you want to get into cross-platform game development, try libgdx or Cocos. You will at least have the freedom to choose your toolkit.
With cross-platform, everything is fine, but often you have to write code that does the same thing for different platforms (at least it was before). In general, do not fill your head with unnecessary EPs.
Haxe looks pretty nice when compared to ActionScript, but if you can write cross-platform applications in Java, then I don't see the point in thinking about learning Haxe seriously.
