Has the book "Python for Kids" been translated into Russian?

Guys, is there a translation of the book Jason R. Briggs "Python for Kids" in Russian? Searched - did not find. But suddenly I didn't search well.. :(

And then I already translated the 3rd chapter at my leisure. I’m thinking of slipping my little one, suddenly it will captivate ... So I’m thinking - maybe in vain .. or not in vain?

Thank you!

This is the right thing, in Russia there are attempts in schools to change from Pascal to Python. What a sure trend. I would take part in the translation of the book, it's a useful thing.

I looked at the book. Haven't seen her before. Very interesting.

I am studying Python with a group of high school students in courses at http://acodemy.ru. I'm not a very good teacher due to my complete lack of experience. But there are very visual and convenient courses; Moreover, you can create your own in the built-in editor. Thus, it is possible to offer students, right in the browser, a beautifully formatted text of the manual, a Python console, a canvas on which you can draw 2D graphics, surveys, tests for knowledge control. All this is divided into lessons with grades, badges and statistics for the teacher. I appeal to the collective mind of the community.

So my suggestion is to try to make an interactive course based on the book, since it is already being translated into Russian. For the lack of courses on python in Russian is clearly felt. Of course, the whole book will not fit into the course; if only because it uses tkinter and other modules. But still. Costs?

Publishers justify the refusal to translate something like this: "it is not profitable for us to translate this, because children in schools are taught other languages, and Python is a deviation from the program."

Here (github, xelatex raws and ready pdf) there is a translation of the prototype of this book from the same author: Snake Wrangling for Kids . He then finalized this prototype and published it as Python for Kids. The prototype is distributed under the terms of CC-BY-NC-SA (by the original author, of course).
The translation is now in progress; first translated python3 and linux. 6 chapters have been translated so far.
I translate slowly, but I will definitely translate to the end, stay tuned :)

By the way, "Peter" announced the book "Hello World" by Warren Sand.
The book, of course, is wonderful, but how relevant is the information on Python given in it?
Dear Ten, perhaps you still should have contacted "Peter" with your translation.

Before the end of the translation, let him study (play) the programming language: Scratch (to create interest in programming) !!! and then you yourself will know, already translated Python !!

It would be great if you translate and put it on the rutracker !!!

Received a response from No Starch Press. Everything is bad.
Dear Ten,
Thank you for your note. We are glad to hear that you enjoy "Python for Kids."
Unfortunately, due to the terms of our agreement with the author, we are only able to license translations to publishers, and cannot grant a license to an individual. I'm sorry to disappoint. In order to release a Russian translation, we will need to partner with a publisher who will be able to translate, edit, layout, print, sell, and promote the book. We are currently speaking with a few Russian publishers about the book, but maybe you have a suggestion for a publisher who would be a good fit?
Best Regards,
Leigh Poehler
