Has anyone used startssl?

Hello dear!

Has anyone used free ssl certificates?

Like these:
1) one - valera.ws/2012.03.11~free-valid-signed-ssl-certifi...
2) two - habrahabr.ru/post/249529

Main questions:
1) modern certificates do not swear at such certificates browsers?
2) what are the pitfalls?
3) Can you suggest any better alternative? Not necessarily free, for example, quite inexpensive.

Thanks in advance for your replies!

Sincerely,

portered

I recommend that you carefully check the presence of CA certificates in the trusted root of all applications (including browsers) that will work with it.
I recently encountered the fact that the WoSign root CA certificate is missing from Thunderbird. Although, for example, it is in the Firefox certificate store.

So far, I have not used a free SSL certificate. But if you want a free SSL certificate and want cheap prices for an SSL certificate, you should visit cheapsslcoupncode.com where various SSL vendor discount coupons are available.
