Has anyone been able to install and run Photoshop 2015 CC in Wine? Or is it a pointless exercise?

try running the portable version. As a rule, they work under Vine even more stable than a rebuilt Vine, because they really drag all the files with them.

Install virtualBox, windows in the same place and run photoshop without too much headache.
And with Wine you are tormented.
