Has anyone created a mobile app with Unity?

Has anyone created a fully mobile app, not a game, in Unity? Is it convenient for Android/IOS cross-platform purposes? I saw that there are tools for material design. What were the problems?

Everything is working. But.
If you are creating an application with a lot of GUI, then expect some difficulties.
With all the variety of unity, it is not very suitable for working with complex interfaces.
Although, I may be spoiled by Delphi and desktop UIs, and these are just nit-picking.
