Hardware solution for DDoS protection?
Hello.
The situation is as follows, we set the task to “finish” the BIG server room, which is used for the company’s projects. Finish = put in order.
Now the question arose with a hardware solution for protection against Dos / DDoS attacks.
I would like to know from the community habr who and what is protected and what volume + type of attacks you are repelling.
We are interested in a more or less universal solution that can prevent and repel small to medium attacks if we fit into the budget and large attacks.
I understand that there is no universal solution, but something close to this would not be bad ;-)
Thanks to everyone for the answers.
According to the old custom, plus signs from me.

I think enterprise level hardware is suitable for you: Arbor pravail, Radware defense pro, Perimeter mini. You can talk in more detail if you have information about the approximate budget, traffic volume, network scheme (meaning the inclusion of iron according to the inline or out-of-path scheme).
It is worth starting with the post of the author of QRATOR, published here about a month ago, there is a lot of interesting information on the topic.
In my opinion, this text: habrahabr.ru/company/xakep/blog/158945/
About five years ago, a piece of iron from the toplayer company worked very well, now it is another company that works in the same area www.corero.com/ .
It was extremely convenient to use, 99% of attacks were repelled automatically. I see the only drawback for you is the lack of a representative office in the CIS, that is, you will have to communicate in English ...
