Hardware RAID controller for Ubuntu - which manufacturer has the best driver support?
For many years I was a user of the LSI 8708EM2 under Windows - everything suited me: the raid ran, monitoring worked, convenient GUI tools for checking and rebuilding the array worked. I switched the server to Ubuntu and the sad thing turned out: LSI was bought by Avago Technologies, which, in turn, merged with Broadcom, and no one gave a damn about supporting old LSI controllers.
I want to buy a new controller to replace the old one, whose assortment should I study? Which manufacturer is consistently involved in the release and support of drivers and software for Linux?
Adaptec without options or are there alternatives?

LSI has quite normal support for 92xx / 93xx series controllers under Linux.
LSI has quite a linux support. it is rather a matter of habit, practice - everything that affects the choice of two approximately equal things. I bought an adapter, but not because it is somehow better - I just looked for a used one and found it at an affordable price
