3) 16 core. opteron 2400 MHz, 64 GB, two mirrors of 60 and 512 GB each SSD + 2 TB disk + UPS 2000VA / 1340W + mother + 2U case 560 W
4) two 16 cores. 2200 MHz opterons, 64 GB, two mirrors of 60 and 512 GB each SSD + 2 TB drive + 2000VA / 1340W UPS + mother + 560W 2U case
and according to the advice from above:
5) 8 poison. Opteron at 2600MHz, 32GB, two mirrors of 60 and 512GB each SSD + 2TB disk + UPS for 2000VA / 1340W + mother + 4U case for 665W with Tesla M2075 6Gb

PS - I'm not a specialist in server building, I only have two self-collections on single 1055 and 2011 xeons in towers.

Yeah, and half of the 150 thousand. for one Tesla and leave.
But I agree if the processing program supports the GPU:
if CUDA - take a server with a pair of gtx titan, titan is 3 times cheaper than tesla and at the same time faster.
if OpenCL, take radeon 7970 for all the money :-)
