There is a hard drive, it works every other time when you copy something, copies at high speed, then drops to zero, after a while it can start copying again and so constantly, it sometimes disappears even from the BIOS, which can be possible with it whether to try to cure? I understand the case with sectors

What about him

A cute furry animal is slowly sneaking up to him on cat's paws... Merge all the data before it's too late. Such disks tend to fail at the most inopportune moment. Then you can already try to read smart, fix bads, do software formatting (if the bad is not hardware - for example, from a speck of dust that has flown in, it helps).

Perhaps overheating is coming, the problem is with the HDD controller.

the reason is in broken sectors, they can be "trimmed", and 1TB will turn out 800 GB, but it will go under the backup
Broken ones appear for a reason, and after "cutting" their appearance does not stop, so your "reserves" will also become broken.

I do not think that the sector. Disk to drive away Victoria, look smart. To clear your conscience, you can change the cable and plug the disk into another connector on the motherboard, but most likely, someone will end. There was something similar, one of the two SATA ports died on the mother.
