On habré there is, as we know, karma and rating.
So, I wrote only comments there and there were no negative ones.
The rating is now 6.12, but karma is -11.

Actually, it’s not clear to me, pluses are put for comments, and chauvinists lower karma down?
M.b. I don't understand something, please explain.

Pay no attention to these Habr metrics. For the reason that they do not carry real benefit! Better get busy. Join some Open-Source-project. The number of commits and pull requests is a much better indicator as a programmer

That's the problem. You can not increase the karma of users who do not have publications. You can downgrade. Therefore, for all users without publications, karma will only decrease

this is supposed to mean to others how much your opinion is weighty, authoritative.
that's the point of your posts will skip.
for the convenience of reading the site, posts with negative karma should be commented out with a tag
or the appropriate css class
