Hello!
Recently I thought: there is, after all, a paragraph of the rules on Habré - " Habr is not a store " according to which:

You can post a link to your blog/website in your topics only in two cases: if the topic is located in the "I'm PR" hub, or in a corporate blog

But what I see: everywhere in profile blogs there are links to their projects, examples on their sites, etc. I don’t want to blame anyone, especially since I did it myself , I just want to clarify:
can I write a topic about how I created some kind of product, describe the technical details and place a link there a la: but you can see it here Or should it not be done like that? If not, then why do they do it? Will the answer change if the link, in addition to my creation, will still show off some kind of banner ad?

Try to write in a profile blog. If the moderators consider this an advertisement, then they will immediately transfer it to "I'm PR", verified.
After moderation, it is also impossible to add a hub on your own, it was asked.
