GUI for browser to server for monitoring?

The office has a server (Ubuntu 16.04) with monitoring and similar tasks. Naturally, without a graphical interface.
We had a task to display the main metrics on a large TV. And I don’t want to have a separate machine for this (an extra device).
How would you recommend doing this?
We need a modern browser and some kind of minimalistic GUI, even without a window manager, tell me the minimum set of packages so that half of the gnome is not dragged.

Just a separate device is better. you can choose hdmi-usb-stick or something like RPI
