I saw cheap SIM800L GSM modules on eBay. Has anyone used them already? I can’t find information on the Russian-language Internet, so as not to buy at random. Because, for example, SIM900A for some reason does not work in Russia.

See datasheet for frequencies. It is necessary that there be support for 900 and 1800 ranges. In addition, there may be module options for different markets (there is a chance to run into a module released for the Asian market, without support for European and American frequencies)
