GRUB + encrypted root disk = gibberish?

Hello cheaters!
Delivered Debian
In system 2 sections/boot and root
Root is ciphered.
When loading grub 2, where the Cyrillic alphabet, draws krakozyabry. Not critical, but annoying.
As I understand it, the brute cannot pick up some font from the root partition.
Where to dig?
