It is necessary to have some kind of scheduler that would allow you to plan some kind of action for a group of people.
Example:
1) every Monday at 18:00 you need to run some script manually,
2) Every day at 9:00 manually check certain folders for files.
What are the options? what can be seen on this topic?

How many planners I saw - all had a repeat function.
Now I use Miniplane. Knows how to plan for time, repeat every day, every week, every month, etc. Able to send SMS and Jabber reminders.
