Graphs and power grid organizations, are there any stakeholders at all?

Hello. It just so happened that after graduating from the institute, I started working not in my specialty, but six years later I still found what was interesting to me at the institute. But a break in practice, and poorly absorbed knowledge does not allow striding by leaps and bounds towards the goal. Well, cry, cry, but the point of the post is not that.
So what did I approach in my work? Because I'm a mathematical engineer and I work for a power grid company, so perhaps the most obvious thing that mathematics and the power grid have in common is graphs. It seems to me that the graph is an ideal structure for describing the electrical network. But as it turns out, I'm the only one with this opinion. Why did I draw such conclusions? Yes, because they even told me directly: “Your smart thoughts are not needed here by anyone, they are sawing grandmas”. After that, it becomes clear that no one is going to get to know and invest anything in this direction. But this does not mean that I myself will not invest anything. I myself either didn’t search well, or really didn’t do anything like that yet, so I opened the project , where in the readme I wrote part of what is needed in the first place.
Why this post? It would be desirable to hear, can nevertheless there are already ready decisions. Maybe someone with more extensive knowledge will develop such a service. And if it works out, then he will be engaged in "a useful sawing of the dough." I, in turn, am ready to help promote the service from the bottom and give contacts of some top managers.
PS Maybe the post is not about anything, the first in my life. Maybe I'm not right at all, I'm ready to listen to any thoughts.
PSS The only place where I could publish.

I doubt that in the energy sector the main problem is to draw a network diagram.

@bugman

And what are colleagues in the shop already using for this, have you looked?
Do you draw diagrams in MSPaint/Visio/..CAD? How do they keep records of entrusted objects - excel, 1C, OEBS, SAP :)?
After all, they are clearly using something, not on paper.
“I work in an electric grid company” - did you communicate with colleagues from neighboring offices? how do they see the problems in the field of design and accounting? here it is necessary, IMHO, not to go to the tops, so as not to hear phrases about drinking, but to ordinary workers.
It seems to me that the audience is not the right audience, you should go to specialized parties / forums, although I could be wrong

With a competent approach, such a product will be needed not by one company, but will be in demand in any company that has a network economy. Why big money? I'll answer with a question. Can you name a poor organization that has its own network complex?
Short description? If you are interested in the topic, you would have already read it!

Can I then go from the end, with your words “Why this post?”
> I would like to hear, maybe there are already ready-made solutions.
If we assume equal features of network management of energy companies and telecoms, and on the first you have some information (“everything is bad”), look / find out / go and talk about how it happens with the second. In my memory, the documentation department of my previous job (telecom) sculpted something in * CAD and the accounting was kept in my own on-knee-written ERP.
> Maybe someone with more extensive knowledge will develop such a service.
I'm afraid that without tangible money, it is unlikely that anyone will do something, except perhaps students, and you don't need their crafts for nothing.
> And if it works out, it will be engaged in "a useful sawing of the dough." I, in turn, am ready to help promote the service from the bottom and give contacts of some top managers.
Let's think rationally and immediately from the flank: we will prepare a draft TK, evaluate this development by eye, multiply the estimate by 10, include your commission and commission tops in it and use your connections - we will go straight to your tops with a commercial offer. If the topic goes well, we will find performers (or we will assemble a team) and you will be happy :)

So far this is just a guess. Do you want to check your guess? Let's try by the principle of trial sales:
- a shitty website with a nice design is riveted in an hour
- beautiful schemes are hung on it, painfully familiar to both energy and telecom operators
- there are photoshopped screenshots that will look nice and look like the sexiest accounting systems and CADs
- an impressive list of functionalities is written
- added a non-existent list of companies that have chosen this product and their reviews
- under all this - contacts for obtaining a trial version, soap and a phone
- Google adwords, Yandex directs are bought and a girl is planted to call all potential customers.
If after all interested people call / write and ask for a trial version, it will be possible to think something, but for now ...
