GPO Software Distribution, how to properly upgrade a package?

There are packages distributed through GPO, it's time to make an update, for example AcroReader.
Sometime, for example, 2 months ago, an installation point (AIP) msi (msiexec / a acro.msi) version 11.0.00 was created, let's call this folder AcroReader11000.
Now version 11.0.06 has been released, we download the patch (weighs 19mb, .msp file). Copy the old AIP (AcroReader11000 to AcroReader11006), apply the patch.
We go to GPO software installation, create a new package, specify the path to the new MSI in AcroReader11006, say update the previous AcroReader11000 package).
Everything is OK, everything is installed, everyone is happy. But now I have 2 AIPs of 150mb each, what if another patch comes out? And 10?
You can install all updates on the first version of the installation, AcroReader11000 will always be 2 * 150mb. I cannot delete AcroReader11000 (it is under lock and key because there is a service pack for it).
So what to do, produce installers?
