Google maps JS API interface how to embed?

Is it possible to recreate some of the elements (in particular the place information in the top left corner) of the google maps embed api in a javascript api?
It is necessary to make the map black and white and display this block, you can use embed and put grayscale on top, but the filters in ie11 do not work, you can js api and saturation -100, then this block is not displayed, I did not find anything in the documentation about it.
