Google maps api v3 how to add custom places to search via searchBox?

I have a map on which markers are loaded from the database by coordinates and the name of the place is displayed in the information window of each marker. The map is connected to a search through the searchBox, which works fine and finds everything on the map, except for my places. The bottom line is that if I have my own marker with the caption "Place 1", I want that when I enter "Place 1" in the search line, this marker is found and the map is centered on it. Are there solutions?
