Going into sleep mode cuts down the power of the laptop. Decision?
When the laptop goes into sleep mode, it seems that the power is cut down incorrectly. Signs: after trying to wake up, it loads as if after shutdown, the browser opened earlier swears that it was closed incorrectly and offers to restore tabs, an entry in the Windows logs that the previous session was closed incorrectly, the power may have been unexpectedly turned off, etc. Those. everything is the same, as if on the desktop, turn off the power abruptly.
I thought I turned off the wrong service somewhere, checked everything - everything is ok. When I got tired - I started restoring Vin.10 to its original state - I restored it with the deletion of all data - the problem remained.
I restored the original state of the laptop to the factory state from the recovery partition - Win.8. The problem with the sleep mode did not disappear.
Notebook Asus N550J
In what direction to dig? Has anyone experienced similar symptoms?
Thank you.

Dealt with the same problem.
The background of the problem is this:
Laptop asus g550jk, I decided to put ssd in place of native hdd, and native instead of dvd drive. The motherboard does not have a full-fledged SATA connector for hdd, it is displayed on a plug-in cable. Well, after buying the dvd-hdd adapter, I started pulling out my native hdd, but it sat so firmly in the sata connector that I decided to disconnect the cable and only then pull out the connector aside. Removed the battery, opened the cable lockbut ... the cable turned out to be stuck to the case on the tape, I decided not to tear it off and took it to pick off the sata connector, it was much easier with the battery removed. I disconnected my native hdd and put it in the dvd-hdd adapter, put ssd in place of my native one, put the battery back in place, screwed everything up, closed it and later transferred the axis from hdd ssd. Everything worked successfully.
But suddenly the laptop started to artifact on YouTube and then completely turned off. And the tricks began. After the reset, the memory and ssd fell off. Then I remembered that I did not fasten the lock of the sata cable. Disassembled fastened. But nothing has changed. The laptop stably died from reset to pulling out the charge. He also stopped sleeping well. Turned on again when waking up with a log of a sudden shutdown. Rearranging and completely turning off the disks did not help. I decided that due to the lack of a normal power contact, the power distribution circuits burned out. I called all the field workers on the motherboard, everything is normal. Standby voltages and signals on the power controller too. Google poured in a bunch of topics about the fact that sleep was lost after this and that, windows updates and other things. I even found a post saying that deleting VirtualBox helped... didn't work for me.
The thought flashed through my head that power surges, from a poorly pressed ssd power supply, could litter the BIOS.
There is nothing to lose. I downloaded the bios of the same version that is on the laptop, it is also the latest version on the site at the moment (205), launched winflash with the /nodate parameter and fed it the 205th bios. Went reboot. And again, a power failure and winflash did not work. I did the same thing but with the charging turned off and after the reboot, the winflash worked. After flashing and downloading, the problem disappeared.
As an option, if the power fails from going to sleep, flashing with the same version or updating the BIOS.
