Go + Websocket or NodeJS + Websocket?

Good afternoon.
According to synthetic tests, working with Go websockets will be much faster and with minimal overhead. But chats (like jivosite) often choose the backend node. Could you tell me, please, with what such a choice can be justified? There seem to be enough specialists in both languages. Or does the node have some significant advantages compared to go?

@blantcat

two languages VS one language
Go + Websocket -> you need either two programmers, or one, but knowledge of both
NodeJS + Websocket languages -> one JS programmer is enough
