gmail. How to send an email to a contact with 2 or more email addresses?
I ran into a problem in Gmail when sending an email to a contact with 2 or more email addresses.
My Google Contacts are divided into groups. Some contacts have 2 or more addresses (for example, home and work e-mail) .
Sometimes I need to send a letter to a group.
Until recently (more precisely, on 10-10-2018), I created a letter in Gmail, in the "To" field I selected the desired group and saw all the e-mail addresses of all members of the group, selected the necessary ones and sent the letter.
Today I discovered that only those e-mail addresses that are written in the contact card at the top are displayed to me.
That is, I cannot select the desired contact e-mail if there is more than one of them. As when sending e-mail to one contact, and to a group.
While I see possible solutions:
- rearrange the desired e-mail in the contact card "up"
- create duplicate contacts with different e-mails.
either way it's uncomfortable...
