Git (Git Extensions GUI): when committing, I got the message "no branch selected", how to restore?
The bottom line is this: I was going to make changes. Got the message "no branch selected". All work is gone. Well, God bless them, I restored something via git fsck --lost-found. The problem is that when you try to commit, "nothing" happens. There are notifications about the presence of 18 pieces in the changes, however, the commit window is empty.
So, is there any way to improve the situation? Since there is a chance, I hope, to return the lost changes, before I break something with my own hands, I decided to ask for advice.
