Gigabyte 870a-ud3 rev 3.0 motherboard supports up to 16GB. Is it possible to use more?

Hello! Situation: I have a Gigabyte 870a-ud3 revision 3.0. The gigabit website says that it supports up to 16 GB of RAM. I have not tried to put more, but I would like 32 GB (4 bars of 8).
Processor: amd Phenom 1100T x6.
Is it true that more than 16GB can not be plugged in to work?

The AMD 870 northbridge, which handles the memory on this motherboard, has no 16Gb RAM limit. There are other models of motherboards with the same northbridge that support 32Gb. For example, the next revision of Gigabyte 870a-ud3 (rev. 3.1) officially supports 32gb RAM : www.gigabyte.ru/products/page/mb/ga-870a-ud3rev_31#sp
I tend to think that at the time of the release of rev 3.0, 8gb strips were not yet on sale and the motherboard was not tested with them, so support was not included in the specification.
Judging by the reviews of the owners of this motherboard on the overclockers forum, 32Gb on this motherboard work fine:

- Who put 8gb memory in one bar?? as well as a set of 4 strips of 8gb - 32gb volume holds ??
I will answer my own question and tell others.
Two strips of 8gb Team 1600 - started the first time. Everything was automatically set to
Dual DDR3 1607 11-11-11-28 CR1 - which is very good. Aida ran a couple of tests. Launched a couple of games FLIGHT is normal!!
- added two more for 4re - General 24GB - and everything is fine. Team 2x 8gb + Kingston 2 x 4gb - all this 1600mhz - started! the total volume is visible - dual unganged is, 1600 holds. I think that 32gb will work. And I have Phenom2 x4 Black 955 - so it will work with all subsequent ones! Yes - I launched a couple of games (Rage, Battle,) to check, a couple of tests, it does not hang - yet.
