Gateway on debian with 1 network interface?

there is a virtual machine on debian, it has 1 network interface through which it accesses the Internet through a gateway and a proxy in the internal network. Is it possible to make it a gateway with Internet access without 2 network interfaces?

is this all without the participation of vlan? is squid installed when exiting through this proxy writes timeout.ICMP is not prohibited
