Full synchronization of computers. How?

Hello.
I have a laptop and a working computer.
The ratio of working time is somewhere around 1 to 3. I
rearrange software, plugins, change configs quite often. Also, a cloud of files is constantly in operation.
In this case, you just need to take a laptop in the morning and go to work elsewhere.
How to fully synchronize Windows(10) and file system (C:, D:) ?
(As far as I understand, cloud synchronization is not suitable at all, since, for example, the registry is not synchronized)

Option 1.
You need one media. For example USB HDD/SSD.
Set computers in the BIOS to boot from this device.
Enjoy
Option 2.
Use a laptop as a host system. Ordinary computer as a thin client.
Google VNC/RAdmin, etc.

Full synchronization
1 takes a long time
2 does not allow you to use either a computer or a laptop during synchronization.
3 requires an external bootable media
Attention question
What for do you need such happiness?
If you really want to synchronize the installed software - work on a virtual machine, they are transferred much easier

1. Install Virtual Box on both computers.
2. Create one virtual machine, install OC and the necessary software there.
3. Download the hard disk image of this machine to a portable HDD (preferably from USB3).
4. Mount the image directly from the portable HDD to Virtual Box and work in it on the appropriate computer.
5. At the end of the session, leave the BackUp image on your computer in case the drive is lost.
PS: An alternative option is only the cloud, again with a separate virtual machine.

Always work on your laptop. Use a docking station instead of a PC.

Option 1:
If you exclude registry synchronization, then any external drive is enough for you.
Keep your working files and browser profile on it, look for portable options for software or put the software on an external drive or store the config there.
Set the OS and software with activation by default on each computer separately.
It is not so easy with software - you need to consider each specific version of the software separately and study its capabilities, there is no general solution. But usually it is possible to find an acceptable option.
Option 2: rent a VDS and work there, and use your devices to access the VDS. True, VDS with Windows is more expensive than with Linux, because. You also have to rent a Windows license.
PS: there is always a price to pay for flexibility
