From what specialty to enter IT from another field of activity?
With what specialty should a person at the age of 35 start / enter IT from another field of activity? It's more commonly mentioned to start with a tester.... But I started with HTML with the goal of getting to JS. Sometimes I look in the direction of UX design. I will educate myself. There is enough time.

depends on the goal and your experience.
If you were an entrepreneur/manager and you understand how business processes work, you can start with development and then move into management (without development experience it is difficult to get into the position of a product/project manager).
If you just want to "get in quicker", testing is fine.
In general, I would say try yourself in different roles and move where you like it more.
Based on the experience of many of my friends, I think that it is really the easiest way to enter IT as a tester now.
- A noticeable staff shortage
- The amount of knowledge required to enter is an order of magnitude less than that of a developer
- In the future, the transition to analytics
- After 2-3 years of work, the salary is comparable to the level of the developer 's salary
- If you want to write code, you can always do auto tests ( and in the future move to development)
- Among testers, I more often meet those who entered after 30. The attitude towards age is relatively loyal.
