From middle backend java developer to middle android developer. How is work experience considered when applying for a job?
Hello. I am now a backend developer (enterprise). I have 1.5 years of work experience. In general, everything suits, but I wanted something new and began to study development on android and the kotlin language. But I'm interested in this moment: how difficult is it for a middle java developer to get a job as a middle android developer? How did you personally take into account the experience of work in this case? Will it be a strong factor that I don't have experience developing on android within any projects (i.e. I have pure development experience to learn, but not work in a project)?

How do you agree. If you can convince the employer that your experience in the related field and a strong theory in the target will help you quickly join and work with full dedication, then you can stay in the middle. How difficult it will be depends on how long they can’t fill a vacancy, the level of bureaucracy in the company, the personal qualities of the interviewers, and many other factors. You can still try to agree on a revision of the grade in six months, for example.
I did exactly that.
