Freeze system when working with an external monitor (Intel HD 4000)

Hi all. There have been several releases since my last interaction with Ubuntu. And She has improved in some ways, though unexpected glitches are still present.

I am using an external monitor. But sometimes the system just freezes, nothing can be done - you need a hard reset. When I use a laptop without an external monitor, such a glitch has not been noticed so far. This is the most critical issue for me when working with Ubuntu.
If you turn on the laptop with an external monitor connected, then there is no image on the laptop monitor, only on the external one. (If you connect an external monitor while the OS is running, everything is fine).
If you turn on the laptop with the mouse connected, in most cases it does not work, you need to reconnect it to USB.

Here are a few of my problems that prevent me from working with Ubuntu. Hunting to continue working with Ubuntu, but incidents with a frieze of the monitor spoil everything. Perhaps there is a solution? I really hope for your help, forum users.

If someone faced similar problems, how did you deal with them?

@stonedmind

In general, the bug was, of course, in Ubuntu and it was fixed a long time ago. So it's not relevant.
