Freelance for an autotester?

Good afternoon!
Currently I work as a QA engineer in a large international company. There is a desire to go into "free swimming", independently regulating their workload, the nature and number of projects. I want to work on many projects without focusing on one company.
Interested in the opinion of colleagues and just experienced people working in the field of test automation. Is it possible to freelance, developing autotests for various customers (large and small companies, web studios) in the CIS market? Or is this work very dependent on many factors and implies only the possibility of remote work on one project?

I advise you not to do this - for clarity, watch the video - QA from Silicon Valley / How to become a tester in K... , where they will reveal to you the big secret of freelancing in the CIS. In short: big companies will look for something that will be cheaper for their task, as a result, large companies "buy" Chinese and Indians who are ready to work for food, and you will dump until you die of hunger, if you are not satisfied with working in an office - perhaps it’s worth changing jobs, but CIS freelance is .....

Go to the upwork and see how much you have worked, yes kua, I think in the context of one person this is quite enough
