FreeBSD The Definitive Guide, 2nd Ed. Is the book still relevant?

Hello. Tell me, is the 2nd edition of the FreeBSD Comprehensive Guide, by Michael Lucas, up to date? Now version 11 of FreeBSD has already been released, and this edition came out during version 6/7.

Relevant in general descriptions of the system - layout, ports, order of loading and initialization of the system, the need and order of rebuilding the bucket. Irrelevant for the order of updating ports, for supported equipment, for X.
In general, you can say this - if it didn’t match the book, it means that it is outdated in this place. Well, in general - learning UNIX from books is about the same as learning to play the guitar ... without a guitar :D
