Let's Encrypt. I use it myself, it's very convenient and most importantly it's free.
Usually advise Let's Encrypt. Of course, it is possible if you are not afraid to trust the installation of third-party scripts and the fact that what was done with StartSSL today will be done with it tomorrow. Until the big ones - Mozilla, Google, Microsoft - create their own free CA - I don't see an alternative.
Let`s Encrypt manually every three months is not an option. But it has already been built into many panels and hosting, in this case it will work.
Personally, I am for StartSSL - beautiful, and most importantly, free certificates for three years. And the fact that their parent company WoSign has problems - so they can be solved, there is no need to jump off.
Those. certificates from a certain date fall under untrusted.
There are also cheap certificates from well-known centers that you can buy from https://www.gogetssl.com/ - an option for business.
