Free domain.
I've been using the free .org.ru domain for a couple of years (free domain zone).
Today I received a letter from [email protected]
.
The domain administrator is the
full name.
The cost of the domain registration renewal service is 360 RUB
including taxes. (by the way, the .ru domain costs 100 rubles per year)
The procedure for renewing services is described on the page
nic.ru/dns/service/how-prolong.html
If the domain registration renewal service is not paid
before the end of the registration period, the delegation of the domain will be suspended .
If the domain registration renewal service is not paid within
90 days after the end of the registration period, the domain will be released
and can be registered by anyone.
To get access to the management and renewal of the xxx.ORG.RU domain, contact the RU-CENTER support service [email protected] Registered
the domain
on
ripn.ru and technical support services for third-level domains .IN-ADDR.ARPA. Domains .COM.RU, .NET.RU, .ORG.RU, .PP.RU and data of their administrators are transferred to RU-CENTER
Actually the question. Where is my free domain zone? Why should I pay for a free domain?
If you know where you can register for free, please share.

Take a domain in the .ru zone.
Spend on this 90r-600r per year.
And make at least a million free third-level domains.
Profit
In general, IMHO, but free domains and hosting is a stage for sites that are just being created.
And for serious projects, it will be cheaper to buy some kind of hosting and register a second-level domain, since even a schoolboy can spend 100 rubles a year!
The whole practice of colliding with “free” ones didn’t justify itself for me personally:
This is an eternally falling apart design due to another crooked tag at the hosting banner, and servers that collapsed without backups (thanks to dax.ru for our f ... th sites!), And this last joke with the re-registration of the third level at prices higher than the second ...
I remember on Habré the question was actively discussed on the topic “Who will take second-level domains for money in purchased 18 thousand first-level domains ?!” - I then said that at the moment there are some domain zones in which they sell the THIRD level and people take it! And after a couple of months - we were delighted with 360 rubles in pp.ru ...
On the fingers: this sharashka office wants 360 a year JUST FOR THE DOMAIN! DNS — you have to pay separately!!!
With RU - the domain belongs to YOU and many registrars (R01 and WebNames) also include DNS support in the paid price!!!
Think for yourself, of course, but for nerves it’s cheaper to buy a normal second-level domain, and not wait for favors from someone else’s uncle: all the advised freebies can end sooner or later, and the same DynDNS requires about once a month to “confirm activity”!
Third-level domains in the NET.RU, ORG.RU, PP.RU, COM.RU zones are now paid - habrahabr.ru/blogs/domains/110205/
In addition to those recommended above, I can also advise free 3rd-level domains here - freedns. afraid.org/ There are several thousand second-level domains to choose from.
If the site on the current domain is important to you and it’s a pity to lose visitors, you can pay for a year and redirect to another free domain of your choice. In a year, all customers will get used to the new, and it will be possible to safely score on the old one.
All domains have been taken away from ripn.ru for a long time, so you will have to pay (http://domain-free.net.ru/). Try DynDns.
How all these rivers hesitated about free domains and hosting. PEOPLE! THERE IS NO FREEDOM AND WILL NOT BE!
dotfree.com/ pre- registration is open, we are waiting for the start of work.
while we use www.co.cc/ , www.uni.cc/ , www.nic.cz.cc/ (now the site is down, but the domains are working, from the same office as the very first one).
